What We Offer
Whether you're a student, resident, fellow, or established clinician — there's a place for you to grow and contribute at CalRetinaMD Ophthalmic Consultants.
Gain hands-on clinical experience alongside a fellowship-trained Vitreo-Retina surgeon. Interns participate in patient care, diagnostic procedures, and contribute to Academy poster presentations.
Engage in Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network studies. Dr. Ganti has served as a Principal Investigator for DRCR.net Protocols A, AB, and W. Opportunities include post hoc analysis of the DRCR.net protocol database — examining various aspects of disease response to treatment across a rich longitudinal dataset.
Participate in private practice research through the American Academy of Ophthalmology IRIS Registry — one of the largest clinical data registries in medicine. Study various aspects of disease response to treatment using this extensive real-world dataset, contributing to meaningful ophthalmic research from a community practice setting.
Dr. Ganti has led surgical eye missions in Mexico, El Salvador, India, China, and Africa. Opportunities to participate in future humanitarian ophthalmology projects may be available.
Partner with an independent retina practice affiliated with Mission Valley Eye Medical Center. Ideal for ophthalmologists seeking collaborative arrangements in the Fremont, CA area.
Dr. Ganti has a long history of teaching and mentorship, including academic appointments at USC, Cornell, and the University of Rochester. Mentorship opportunities for residents and fellows.
